Bad Vöslau is a friendly spa town situated in a thermal region, surrounded by vineyards and forests. The climate is very pleasant and the hilly nature offers a lot of possibilities to hike or bike. In 2018 Bad Vöslau inaugurated the Wine-Woods-Water-Hiking-Area with almost 90 kilometres of designated and labelled hiking paths. On our eight routes, you will find everything from a pleasant walk (Schlumberger Wegerl) to a tough day-trip for well-trained hikers (Vöslauer Beethovenwanderweg), depending on your mood and stamina. Bad Vöslau is surrounded by vast stretches of woodland. Because of this uniqueness, the UNESCO declared these forests to Biosphere Reserve Wienerwald in 2005.
Bad Vöslau is also well known for its mineral water. Apart from our pure water, we also serve excellent wine and nice typical dishes at the tavern of our winemakers, so called „Heurigen“.
After a walk, you can enjoy a swim in the pure water, in the “Thermalbad”, an 1837 built thermal bath sitting in the heart of Bad Vöslau.
